Stacy Ward

Stacy Rae Ward, 47 of Cambridge, passed away Monday, October 30, 2023, at her home following a lengthy illness with addiction. She was born Sunday, March 21, 1976, in Cambridge, the daughter of Terry R. Ward and Rhonda S. (Lashley) Moore.

Stacy was a kind and loving person who had a heart of gold. She never met a stranger, and would give you the shirt off her back. Stacy would help anyone in need. She loved her animals, fishing, and spending time with her family and friends.

Stacy is survived by her mother, Rhonda (Gary) Moore; her father Terry Ward; two sisters, Skylar Ward and her fiancée Earl Caley and Samantha Ward; one step-brother, Justin Flowers; on step-sister, Christy Stottsberry, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.

Stacy was preceded in death by her life-long companion, Tom Walter; her maternal grandparents, Raymond Ward and Mauvienne Ward; her maternal grandparents, Robert Lashey and Delores Lashey.

Friends may call Friday, November 3, 2023, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM, at the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, where funeral services will follow at 5:00 PM, with Pastor Gerry Wade officiating. A caring cremation will follow and Stacy will be laid to rest in Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge at a later date.
