Zanesville Noon and Daybreak Rotary Clubs Unite to Honor Veterans

ZANESVILLE, OH – The Zanesville Noon and the Zanesville Daybreak Rotary clubs are partnering up to host the Veteran’s Day Parade.
The parade will take place on Saturday November 11th at 11 AM.
Kelly Ashby, President of the Noon Rotary Club, wants the community to know that there is still time to sign up if you’d like to be a part of the parade.
“We want everyone to know that they can be a part of the parade.” Ashby said. “We have those available on visitzanesville.com or you can stop by the Welcome Center.”
Ashby says the reason for hosting the parade is to celebrate and honor the veterans in our community.
“We want to invite the community to come downtown to celebrate and honor our Muskingum County veterans.” Ashby said. “It’s always a wonderful parade with the marching bands, the live music makes the parade.”
Ashby says so far they have received over 50 entries into the parade, from floats and cars to those just walking to show support for the veterans.
Parade line up will begin at 9:30 AM in the Secrest Auditorium Parking lot.
If you are interested in signing up for the parade, you can find the entry form at visitizanesville.com
Also if you miss the parade or want to watch it again; it will air on WHIZ-TV at 12PM and on Fox 5 at 1 PM on November 13th.
