Arrest Made in Licking Co. Stabbing

The Licking County Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest in a stabbing investigation.

Sheriff Randy Thorp said 24-year-old Tristan Hill, of Newark, was arrested Wednesday and charged with felonious assault. He’s being held in the Licking County Jail as detectives work to determine if others were complicit and a motive for the incident.

Authorities said the stabbing took place on November 2, around 7:45pm in the 200 block of Goosepond Road in Newark Township. There deputies located a victim with a stab wound. The victim was transported to a Columbus area hospital.
