Annual Holiday Art Fest 2023
ZANESVILLE, OH- The Artist Colony of Zanesville brought a unique artistic opportunity to the community with their Holiday Art Fest.Local artists had the chance to showcase their talents at the festival. People who attended were able to look at all of the artwork and purchase items they enjoyed.“We do two large events each year, we do the Y-Bridge Arts Festival, which is the first weekend in August, and then we do Holiday Art Fest in November, and then we promote all of the first Friday events that happen every first Friday throughout the year at all of the galleries downtown, so we’re the parent art organization,” says Erin Cole, the Art C.O.Z. President.Some of the items on display included woodworking, mosaic pottery, paintings, ceramics, blown glass, jewelry, leather works, clothing, furniture and much more!“It is thrilling, and I’m so glad to see the support today, I knew that Zanesville would show up because they do, and they do a wonderful job of supporting our first Fridays every month and I knew they’d be here today, and they are, and we want to say thank you,” says Cole.The Artist Colony of Zanesville would also like to thank the Muskingum Valley Garden Society and the Muskingum County Library for helping to sponsor the event. The Holiday Art Fest will return in 2024.
