Meet Bonnie! This Week’s Dog of the Week

ZANESVILLE, OH – This week’s dog of the week is the fluffy and cuddly, Bonnie.

Bonnie is a 2-year-old, bulldog mix, who is spayed up to date on her vaccinations and loves to be the center of attention. She does well riding in the car and is good with kids, cats and other dogs. She loves to explore the world around her every day.

“She’s a little bit active when she’s getting to know you,“K9 Adoption Center Volunteer Doug McQuaid said. “But a walk at least once a day would be great for her.”

This Sunday the Adoption Center will be at the Muskingum County Fairgrounds for the first Storybook Christmas Gingerbread Contest. You’re encouraged to bring your furry friends.

“Bring your pet because we will be having pictures with Santa Claus,” McQuaid said. “He’s making time for a stop, so get your pictures with the family while he’s in town.”

The Adoption Center is asking for donations of collars, leashes, treats, and peanut butter to help with taking care of animals like Bonnie.

The Gingerbread Contest will take place in the Veterans Building from 2 to 4 PM. You can vote on your favorite gingerbread house. If you are interested in adopting Bonnie or any other dog from the K-9 Adoption Center, you can call them at 740-453-0273.
