Pet of the Week

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Every Friday we stop by the Animal Shelter Society to feature our pet of the week.

This week we met Domino. Domino has been at the Shelter since early June and is a year-and-a-half-old. Jody Murry, the executive director with the Animal Shelter Society said that Domino is ready to be a part of a new family.

“We classify him as a domestic short-hair which is kind of a generic breed. He’s good with people, good with cats. He’s already been neutered and he’s available for adoption,” said Murray.

Domino costs $30 to adopt and is up to date on all of his vaccinations and is microchipped.

“He seems pretty relaxed this morning. He seems to get along with people and get along with other dogs and cats pretty well. I think he’s old enough that he could assimilate into someone’s house and be part of someone’s family.

To make Domino a part of your family you can visit the Animal Shelter Society on Newark Road.
