Dennis Heclo

Dennis John Heclo, 76 of Zanesville died at 4:22 AM Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at the Cedar Hill Care Center.
He was born March 21, 1947 in Zanesville, Ohio the son of the late John Heclo and Frances Harsch Heclo.
Dennis was a graduate of Zanesville High School and served his country as an Air Force Veteran. He was employed with Kraft Foods, Buckeye Biscuit Company & retired from Tenneco Packaging Company. Dennis was a local softball umpire for many years, enjoyed baseball, golfing, basketball & football. He was active member of Trinity Lutheran Church where he served as a deacon and very much enjoyed to travel.
Dennis is survived by three children; a daughter, Stephanie Wooten, two sons, Greg Heclo & Jeff Heclo.
A celebration of life service will be held later.
