Kevin Bilyeu

Kevin Paul Bilyeu, 73 of Frazeysburg and formally of Nashport, died Friday evening, December 15, 2023 at Genesis Hospital, Zanesville.

Born September 12, 1950, in Barnesville, Ohio he was a son of the late Lewis and Katherine (Stine) Bilyeu. He was a graduate of Triway High School in Wooster, Ohio, where he played football and wrestled. Kevin worked in Gas & Oil Field and retired after 34 years of service from Temple Oil & Gas. He was a Licking Township Volunteer Fireman from 1991-1998, a hard worker who could repair almost anything, he loved to build things and building and flying radio control planes with his son. Kevin enjoyed watching football and listening to country music and in retirement he especially enjoyed taking care of his hobby farm with his son. Kevin was a loving and caring husband, father and brother-in-law to Peggy. Peggy and Kevin formed a very special relationship over the past 8 years while she lived with Kevin and Patricia.

Surviving is the love of his life, Patricia A. (Kramer) Bilyeu, whom he married July 17, 1976; his two proudest accomplishments, his children, Jennifer A. Bilyeu and Michael P. Bilyeu; siblings, Candice Patterson, Greg & Carol Bilyeu, Robin (Chuck) Norris, and Chris (Martha) Bilyeu; special niece, Danielle Bilyeu; special nephew, Curt (Holly) Bilyeu and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by mother & father-in-law, H. William & Maxine L. Kramer; brother & sister-in-law, Dana & Susan Bilyeu; very special sister-in-law, Peggy L. Kramer; brother-in-law, Anthony Patterson; nephew, Steve Bilyeu; niece, Bayley Norris and great nephew, Ryder Beardsly.

Funeral services will be held, 11:00am, Thursday, December 21, 2023, at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 W. Third Street with Pastor Jim Clegg officiating.

Kevin will be laid to rest at the Dresden Cemetery, Dresden.
