Helen Waltz

Helen Elizabeth Waltz, 69, of Zanesville, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2023. Helen was born on July 26, 1954, to Glenford Tracey and Hilda (Trout) Tracey. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Shane Tracey; ex-husband, George Waltz; granddaughter, Megan Tucker; nephew, Joey Tracey; brothers, Richard Tracey, Tom Tracey, Kenny Tracey, Gary Tracey, Johnny Tracey and Paul Tracey; sisters, Maxine Lynn and Rita Smith.

Helen leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, Brenda Waltz and Deserae Simpson; grandchildren, Britny Ault, Amber McLean, Danika Joseph and Mackenzy Shultz; great grandchildren, Gage, Alan Jr., Candyce, Rowan, Radile, Mykel, Rae’lynn, Jett, Tyler, Blake and Tayah; siblings, Ruth “Gummy” (Glenn) Alexander; many nieces and nephews including, Randy “Alk” Smith and Crystal Burkett, Angie King, Tonya Alexander, Jamie Tracey, Kayla Tracey and Terry Tracey; as well as several other friends and family.

Helen loved to go to yard sales, shopping and most of all she loved Jesus. She enjoyed spending time with her family playing games like Yahtzee, eating together and having a good time. Helen always put her family first. She retired from Lear Corporation. She will be missed by all that knew her.

Per her wishes, Cremation has been chosen. No service will be observed. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
