Carrie Hanning

Carrie A. Hanning, 62 of Chandlersville passed away peacefully on January 5, 2024 surrounded by her loving family at Genesis Hospice Morrison House.

Carrie was born on September 13, 1961 in Zanesville.  She is the daughter of the late Raymond Hanning and Emma Jean Cook and her step mom who raised her, Judy Hanning.

Carrie was a loving mother and grandmother.  She enjoyed playing bingo and her trips to the casino but most especially she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Carrie is survived by her children, John (Alicia) Sweeney, Rachel Hanning, James (Shante) Hanning, Joel Hanning, and Josiah Hanning; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and several brothers and sisters.

Carrie is preceded in death by her brother, Jewble Hanning.

Visitations will be 12 to 2 pm on Wednesday January 10, 2024 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls, where funeral services will be held at 2 pm.  Pastor Joe Rowland will officiate the services.  Carrie will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery in Zanesville.
