One Injured in Coshocton Accident

The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office believes alcohol and excessive speed caused a crash in Coshocton County Tuesday night.

Officials said that around 8:20 p.m. dispatch received several 911 calls in reference to an accident in the 1700 block of Chestnut Street. When  deputies arrived they found a vehicle driven by 43-year-old Eric Franks of Coshocton was traveling east on Chestnut when he lost control and struck two parked cars.

His passenger, Cynthia Rodehaver, was taken to the heli-pad at Coshocton County Memorial and flown to OSU Medical Center. Her condition is unknown at this time.

Franks refused treatment.
