Elderly Woman Found

 Authorities located a missing Licking County woman. 

The Licking County Sheriff’s Office said shortly after 9 p.m. Sunday an elderly resident of Refugee Road wandered away from home on foot in an unknown direction. 

A family member was unable to locate her and called authorities. 

A command post was set up to search for her and officials used a plane from the Ohio State Highway Patrol equipped with heat sensing equipment to search for the woman. 

The pilot spotted an individual on the property along a fence line and directed ground units to that area. 

The woman was chilled but somewhat responsive and taken to Licking Memorial Hospital for treatment and observation.
