Scott “Scooter” Alan Hansgen, 61, of Zanesville passed at 8:18 P.M. Friday, January 19, 2024 at the Genesis Hospital.
He was born on Monday, March 26, 1962 in Nelsonville, Ohio the son of the late Carl Hansgen and Judy Ackerman Hansgen.

Scott was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church. He attended Zanesville High School class of 1980, and Muskingum Area Technical College class of 1986. Scott was employed with Nabisco Company & the Keebler company as a delivery man for many years. He then worked as a sales Representative with Time Warner Cable and retired from Spectrum.  Scott loved to ride his motorcycle, and looked forward to his yearly trips to Sturgis, West Virginia and Key West. If he wasn’t riding his motorcycle you could find him beating his friends at Euchre or at The Barn. He had a passion for golf and enjoyed the challenge. If you’re wondering if you’ve met him, you didn’t, because you WOULD remember. Scott never knew a stranger.

He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Englehart Hansgen; two children, Connor Hansgen and Callie Hansgen; his beloved German Shepard, Brutus; two siblings, John Hansgen and Carla Hansgen; and his nieces, Paige Diehl, Abigail Neloms, Bailey Cole and Riley Hansgen.
