Larry Smith

Larry J. Smith, 77 of Zanesville, died peacefully in his sleep at 11:30 am on Monday, January 22, 2024, surrounded by his family. He was born July 8, 1946, in Clarion, PA the son of Edwin and Maretta (Yoder) Smith. Larry served in the United States Navy and retired from Anchor Glass Container of Zanesville. He was a member of the American Legion Post #29 and VFW Post #1058.

He is survived by his sister Ellen (Bob) Weeter; children: Lonnie Smith of Maryland and Jodi (Kelly) Masters; grandchildren: Samantha (Wes) Wilson, Kierston (Larry Joe) Willis, Jesse (Daniel) Willis and Justin (Courtlyn) Willis; two step grandchildren: Kelsie (Tiffany) Masters and Levi (Kassie) Masters; and six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call from 10AM to 12PM Friday, January 26, at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE, where funeral services will begin at 12:00 PM. Burial will conclude in Zanesville Memorial Park.
