Tamela Murvine

Tamela Jean (Ervin) Murvine, 63 of Zanesville, walked with her heavenly father through the pearly gates of heaven in the early morning hours of January 24, 2024, after a lengthy illness. Tammy was born on January 26, 1960, to the late Floyd and Lois Ervin of Zanesville. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by the father of her boys, Dale Burnett Sr.

Tammy leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Jerry Murvine of Zanesville; children, Dale (Tricia) Burtnett, John (Sandy) Burtnett, Josh (Kristy) Burtnett all of Zanesville and Gary (Tonya) Burtnett of Charleston South Carolina; grandchildren, Matt (Chelcey Tusing) Burtnett, Tyler (Greta Baughman) Burtnett, Luke Burtnett, Wesley Burtnett, Brayden Burtnett, Dallas Burtnett, Haley Burtnett, Emmalee (Matt Johnson) Burtnett, Xavier Fritz, Claire Jones, Nash Jones, Neal Edwards, Frank Edwards, Lauren (Brandon) Seitz; sisters, who she was extremely close with, Angie (Mike) Grigg, Tina (Terry) Browning and Teresa Hawkins; brothers, Steve (Belinda) Ervin of Warsaw and John (MJ) Ervin of California; as well as several other friends and family.

Tammy would easily tell you her life’s greatest achievement was raising four loving, funny and hard-working sons who gave her fourteen beautiful grandchildren with her first great grandchild due any day now.

A celebration of life will be held at Cornerstone Full Gospel Church, 4509 Salt Creek Dr., Duncan Falls Ohio at 2 p.m. on January 26, 2024, which would have been her 64th birthday. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
