Craig Allen Berry, 59, of Adamsville died at 12:00 Midnight Saturday, February 3, 2024 at the Genesis Morrison House Hospice following a courageous two-week battle with Pancreatic Cancer.
He was born August 7, 1964 in Newark, Ohio, and was a former member of Christ United Methodist Church in Newark. He is a 1982 graduate from Licking Valley High School, later graduating from the 3B School of Cosmetology both in Newark. During Craig’s career, he worked at several different salons in the Zanesville and Newark areas, becoming a salon co-director for several years, then later the owner/manager of The Salon on Linden Ave in Zanesville. In his spare time, he liked spending time outdoors, fishing, singing karaoke, vacationing at the ocean, working on cars and gardening. Craig was very good at any sort of constructional and mechanical work, as well as an avid reader; but mostly he enjoyed being a family man, always going out of his way to help and be there for his family and friends.
He is survived by his mother, Janet Wise Berry; his wife, Kristyn McNutt Berry whom he married November 15, 2020; a daughter, Laci (Matt Becker) Confer; two sons, Logan Kuhn and Wyatt Hartley; a sister, Terri (Brian) Latourelle; mother-in-law, Tina Claypool; three sisters-in-law, Ashlei ( Devon ) Willis, Amber Claypool (Bobby Christman), and Kendra (Corey Marsh) McNutt; a granddaughter, McKynlee Houk, and two twin grandsons on the way; along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Craig was preceded in death by his father, Allen Berry.
Visitation will be held 12 noon to 3:00 pm with funeral service to be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, February 10, 2024 at the Bryan Hardwick Funeral Home with Brian Latourelle officiating.
