Starting on Highway 103 The New Lexington Panthers have been rolling as of late and are now the Small School MVL Champions after getting a victory Tuesday night against the Philo Electrics putting them on a 4-game winning streak. But this player of the game is for the win on February 2nd where the Panthers took down the Tornadoes 52-34. The award for that game goes to Paul Stenson who had a good all-around performance in the win.

Next on AM 1240 we have Newark’s Steele Meister who had a huge scoring night against the Zanesville Blue Devils. This game was a battle in the first half with it only being a one-point game, and that would continue going into the 4th quarter with the Wildcats up 37-36. That’s when they turned it up a notch. Newark would end the game going on a 20-5 run in the quarter with 11 of those points coming from Steel who would finish with a game high 30 points in the 62-45 win over Zanesville.

And last on Z92 is Sheridan’s Logan Russell. At the time of the game the Generals were on a 5-game winning streak taking on the John Glenn Muskies. This game was a close one the entire way, but it was with the help from Logan who chipped in 13 points to help the Generals get their 6th victory in a row with a 53-49 win before it came to an end on Tuesday night against the Maysville Panthers.
