Fatal Accident on Cannelville Road
The Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol is investigating a single vehicle fatal crash.
It took place just after 5:30pm Thursday evening on County Road 7, Cannelville Road.
The patrol said 56-year-old James Durst of Roseville was traveling south on the roadway when he drove off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected and traveled off the left side of the roadway, striking a utility pole and overturned.
Sergeant Jeff Jirles said Durst was flown from the scene by medical helicopter and later died at Grant Hospital. The crash remains under investigation.
