Wycinski Found in Guilty in Stolen Property Case

Perry Co.- A Perry County man was found guilty by a Perry County jury for receiving stolen property.
The Perry County Sheriff’s Office said George E. Wycinski of Corning now faces up to 18 months imprisonment and a $5,000 fine with five years of community control. His sentencing date is pending.
The Sheriff’s Office said in July of 2022 they began an investigation after an anonymous complain that Wycinski was in possession of a stolen camping trailer. The trailer had been reported stolen in May of 2022 from a Jacksonville residence in Athens County.
The investigation determined that Wycinski was in possession of the camper valued at over $31,000.
