Dancing With the Divas 2024

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Dancing With the Divas is a local event that partners dancers with area celebrities to raise funds for their chosen causes. 

Dancing Divas President LeAnne Bader-Mock explained how members of her nonprofit share their diverse dancing skills in a way that generates interest with the public.

“So this is our take on ‘Dancing With the Stars’ and giving the opportunity for local celebrities to raise money for their charity of choice. So over the last 12 years, we’ve been able to raise over $365,000 dollars for local charities,” Bader-Mock said.

The fundraising event offers a dance competition that pairs the divas with public personalities to create unique dancing experiences that will be judged with the monetary rewards given to the charities.  

“This year, we had eight wonderful people step up to participate and eight different charities that things are benefitting. So how this helps the community is each year, each have really nine… because we too are our own charity that benefits putting this event together,” Bader-Mock said.
