Meet Stream: This Week’s Pet of the Week

ZANESVILLE, OH – This Week’s Animal Shelter Society’s Pet of the Week goes with the flow, just like her name.

Meet Stream! She is a 10 month old Catahoula Leopard dog and terrier mix, who’s up to date on her vaccinations and spayed. April Gibson, the Executive Director of the Animal Shelter, said that Stream loves people, her treats, and is quite the character.

“She’s still a puppy of course, so we have to keep that in mind with that 10 months old,” Gibson said. “But she likes any dog she comes across, she doesn’t seem to have a problem with cats. Of course if you have another dog you have to come in for a meet and greet to make sure it’s a good fit.”

Gibson said Stream would do good with just about any family, just keep in mind she’s still your typical, rambunctious puppy.

She also said that the Animal Shelter is ramping up for their annual “Yappy Hour” fundraiser.

“It’ll be March 7th at the Zanesville Country Club from 6 to 8 PM,” Gibson said. “We just got Ray and Associates their sponsorships. They are a great supporter of our Shelter and we appreciate that.”
