Hydrant Flushing Moved

Wet weather pushes back the Zanesville Fire Department’s hydrant flushing.

Hydrant flushing that was scheduled for Thursday is being moved to Monday, May 19.

It will take place in the following areas

  • Pershing Road on the west side of Pine Street to the Railroad Tracks
  • Ridge Avenue
  • Brighton Boulevard
  • Dryden Road
  • All side streets

Flushing will take place from 7:30a.m. until 2:30p.m. Residents in these areas may experience discolored water and reduced pressure. It’s advised to wait until after 4p.m. for the water to clear before doing laundry.
