Brayleigh McCuen

Brayleigh M.E. McCuen, 13, of Zanesville, died at 8:12 P.M. on Sunday, February 18, 2024, at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Columbus. She was born August 14, 2010, in Zanesville, a daughter of Josh McCuen and Krystal Swartz. Brayleigh enjoyed playing board games especially Candyland, Uno, and Connect 4 and liked watching YouTube. She had a contagious smile that everyone who met her adored, she loved to give and receive hugs, spending time with her family and friends and she lived her life to the fullest.
In addition to her parents she is survived by her grandparents, Mamaw Linda and Pappap David Sharrer and Grandma Betty and Papaw Jimmy McCuen; four aunts, Tiffany (Josh) Swartz, Wendy (Eric) Swartz, Shelley (Brett) Swartz and Glenna McConnell; two uncles, Jay (Kristle) McCuen and Roy Sharrer; three best friends, Chloe, Cidney and Ashton; and eight cousins, Ahrayah, Kinsley, Kaison, Tanner, Swayzie, Marques, Ryder and Wyatt.
She is preceded in death by great grandmas, Joyce Swartz, Sandy Sharrer; great grandma Louis Saxton, and great grandma Helen McCuen; grandpa, Leroy Pulliam and Uncle Richard McConnell.
Friends and family may call from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. to 8:00P.M. on Friday, February 23, 2024 at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE and one hour prior to funeral services at 12:00 P.M. Noon on Saturday, February 24, 2024 with Pastor Leonard Hill officiating.
Following a cremation, the family would like to invite everyone who would like to attend Brayleigh’s last ride to gather at the funeral home at 12:30 P.M. Tuesday, February 27, 2024, to process to Woodlawn Cemetery where she will be laid to rest.
