Power Outage Update

American Electric Power says a Thursday morning power outage was caused by a squirrel in a sub station.  It happened around 8 am. in the Airport Road area and knocked out service to around 1,746 customers.  A-E-P crews are working to fix the problem and expect service to be restored by 1 pm.
