Update: Accident at Corner of Main & 7th Streets

Zanesville, OH- The Zanesville Police have released more information into an accident in downtown Zanesville.
It took place Tuesday afternoon at 7th and Main Street.
Zanesville Police Det. Sgt. Phil Michel said a 2016 Chevy Traverse was southbound on 7th and was traveling through the intersection of Main Street, when a 2005 Subaru Outback travelling west on Main Street ran a red light and struck the Traverse.
Michel said the accident caused the Traverse to run off the road and strike a building at 634 Main Street.
Authorities said the driver of the Subaru fled the scene. Two passengers of the Subaru were arrested for Obstructing Official Business. They were identified as 24-year-old Levi Judson of Crooksville and 20-year-old Kristen Sloan of Junction City. Their arraignment will be March 12th in Zanesville Municipal Court.
