Mid-March Mall-Draw

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Mid March means Midway Speedway’s stock car show at the Colony Square Mall. 

Colony Square Mall General Manager Jessica Brailer explained how the annual attraction is not the only family oriented event taking place at the mall this weekend.   

“This weekend here at Colony Square Mall, we have the Midway Speedway Stock Car Show, which is Friday, Saturday and Sunday,” Brailer said. “And we have the Easter Bunny coming and he will be here everyday now through March 30th. And also this Sunday we have a Sunburst Beauty Pageant. So we have a lot planned and it’s going to be a great way to kick off the spring season, here at Colony Square Mall.”

Sunburst Beauty Pageant is a national company that holds pageants at the mall twice a year as they tour nationally. Participants can register at the Sunburst website and also arrive all spiffed up for a photo with the Easter Bunny.

“And we’re going to have two pet nights available this Easter season,” Brailer said. “The first one is coming up on March 11th and the second is March 18th. And that’s from 5 to 7 p.m. you’re welcome to bring in your furry family members for pictures with the Easter Bunny. We ask that those pets are leashed and that you come into the entrance by AT&T.”

The Stock Car Show will be on display through Sunday and has dozens of racing vehicles and drivers on hand, ranging from go-carts to Late-Models.
