Newark Falls in Regional Semi-Final

The Newark Wildcats boys basketball season has come to an end at the hands of Olentangy Orange.
Wednesday night at Ohio Dominican University the Orange defeated the Wildcats 50-42. It was a close game with Newark down just a point going into the 4th quarter. It was the 4th quarter that made the difference as the Orange went outscored the Wildcats 16-9 to advance to the regional finals in the OHSAA playoffs.
Braylon Morris led Newark with 21 points. They end their season 22-5.
The Orange move on to play Delaware Hayes on Saturday. Hayes defeated Hilliard Bradley 56-40. The regional finals will also be played at Ohio Dominican University.
