Weekend Robberies Connected

Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz says two weekend robberies are likely connected.  The Sheriff says just after 12 am Saturday the Duke & Dutchess at 5955 Newark Road was robbed by a man with a knife.  Sheriff Lutz says a few hours later just after 5 am the Duke & Dutchess was robbed at 140 Pleasant Grove Road.  The suspect is described as a white male, between five feet five and five feet seven inches tall, wearing blue jeans.  Lutz says the suspect drives a green Ford Explorer.  Anyone with information on those two incidents is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 740 452-3637
