Muskingum County Election Results

Muskingum County- The Muskingum County election results are in. These results are final but unofficial.

In the Republican race for County Commissioner Drake Prouty defeated Tony Coury and Gene Tahyi. Prouty had 5,403 votes while Coury tallied 2,034 and Tahyi 895. Prouty will face Democrat John Furek in November.

In the Village of South Zanesville the fire protection and emergency services levy for 3 mills failed with 94 no votes and 83 for.

Wayne Township’s 1 mill for 5 years passed 448 votes for to 297 votes no.
