All-Ohio Boys Basketball Teams Revealed
ZANESVILLE, OH – The All-Ohio Teams for boys’ basketball have been announced by the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association, and plenty of local area talents have been included in these postseason honors.
In Division I, Newark senior Steele Meister was named to the second team after averaging 19 points per game, while his junior teammate Braylon Morris was named as an honorable mention.
Division II had plenty of familiar names on it. Maysville senior Alex Bobb was named to the first team after an average of 26.3 points per game amidst a trip to the Division II championship game. Terrell Darden from Tri-Valley and Isaiah Stephens from New Lexington were named to the second team. Zanesville’s Rashaud Hampton and Sheridan’s Raine Rodich were special mentions. Division II had plenty of familiar honorable mentions including: Drew Wright from Philo, Caleb Larrick from John Glenn, Noah Nichols from Tri-Valley, Gator Nichols from Maysville, Max Lyall from Tri-Valley, and Bentley Hanson from New Lexington.
Coshocton’s Colton Conkle averaged nearly 20 points per game this year, and he was named to the second team for his efforts in Division III. Konlan McIntyre from Crooksville had 18.5 points per game this year and was named an honorable mention.
Finally in Division IV, Rosecrans senior Grady Labishak was named to the first team after a phenomenal season of 27.5 points per game. His teammate Xander Daniels was an honorable mention, as was Newark Catholic’s Griffin Urdarovski.
