Reds and Pirates Win; Indians Fall on the Road

Joey Votto’s second game back in the Reds lineup was productive for the team as he double home two in a 5-0 win over the Dodgers. Jay Bruce was able to chip in as he hit a solo homerun in just the team’s second win over LA this season. 

In the steel city a rain delay couldn’t keep the Pirates from defeating the Cubs. In his second game with the Pirates Gregory Polanco had his first career RBI in a 4-2 win. Andrew McCutchen homered agian for Pittsburgh. It was his third straight homer against the Cubs.

Finally in Kansas City the Indians offense struggled again in a 4-1 loss. Carlos Santana singled home the only Indians run in the Tribe’s second straight loss.
