When Life Gives Christ’s Table Lemons…

Christ’s Table will be a part of the festivities at Stars and Stripes on the River this weekend.

They will be selling lemon shakeups for the 5th straight year. The money raised will help the organization be able to continue to offer meals to those in need.

"Our famous lemon shake ups will be down at Stars and Stripes on the river on the 3rd and 4th," said Christ’s Table Executive Director Keely Warden. "We encourage everyone to come down, have a quick cool drink, and cool down on that hot summer day."

Warden said they are still looking for help during the event on Friday, especially between the busiest hours of 6:00 and 10:00 p.m.

"We have plenty of volunteers on Thursday, but we do need help on the 4th, on Friday. So if you’re interested in giving us a couple hours and shaking up some lemon shakeups, it’s a good time. Give us a call at 452-9766 and we’ll get you volunteered."

The shakeups will be $3 for a small and $5 for a large.  Warden said they hope to be able to raise a couple thousand dollars throughout the two day event.
