A New Christmas Time Experience

The weather outside is far from frightfull, but it won’t be that way come December.

The Zansville and Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce is already gearing up for the holiday season. A new event called a Storybook Christmas is happening across the county this winter. The Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce, Kelly Ashby said it’s a way to promote all there is to offer in Muskingum County.

"It’s just a way to tie in all of our businesses and events that are happening throughout the holiday season in a way for us to package it and promote it to our local community and also to attract visitors to come in during the holiday season and do shopping and eating and enjoying all of the attractions that we have. "

Ashby said that everything will be starting the weekend after Thanksgiving and run through December. She added that over 30 businesses and atractions have already registered to participate.

"You will see lots of new decorations, and enhancing decorations that have been displayed in the past, so it’s just going to be a great holiday season. We have a lot of enthusiasm and again a lot of businesses that are participating."
