Two Car Injury Accident

A two car injury accident occurred Saturday evening at the intersection of 5-55 and State Route 60.

SGT. Melanie Appleman of the Ohio State Highway Patrol told us a black Chevy Pick Up was traveling southbound on State Route 60 in the left-hand lane preparing to make a right-hand turn. Meanwhile a silver GMC Terrain was northbound preparing to make a left-hand turn onto 5-55. Authorities say there was confusion as to what color the light was at the time, and the two cars collided. Who is at fault is still unclear. Two people were injured in the accident. One driver was shaken up, and the extent of the other drivers injuries are unknown, but, both are expected to be ok. They were transported to Genisis Hospital. State Highway Patrol, Wayne Township Volunteer Fire Department, and Genisis Community Ambulance all responded to the scene.
