Details on Friday’s OVI Checkpoint
The Ohio State Highway Patrol announced details on a sobriety checkpoint taking place in our area Friday night…
The patrol said the checkpoint will be held Friday from 9pm until 12am, on State Route 821in Noble County.
The checkpoint, funded by federal grants, is planned to deter and intercept impaired drivers. The checkpoint will also be held in conjunction with nearby saturation patrols, to aggressively combat alcohol-related injury and fatal crashes.
If you plan to consume alcohol, designate a driver, or make other travel arrangements before you drink.
The Noble County Sheriff’s Office will assist the patrol.
