Customer-Focused Culture Seminar
Area business leaders gathered for a seminar Friday hosted by the Zanesville Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce.
The talk was held in the John McIntire library auditorium, and was on providing a customer focused culture. Senior Vice President of Signature Worldwide, Dave Hamilton says that he feels the idea of creating a happy customer is misunderstood in todays society.
"I think that customer service is misunderstood today. I think that a lot of people think that as long as you look at people and smile, that’s customer service and in today’s competitive universe that we live in it really is a little bit more of a science."
About 50 to 60 people took advantage of Friday’s opportunity. Hamilton says holding and attending events like these are important when it comes to bettering your business.
"The more people you can get to the events, the better your business is going to be. I mean if you don’t move your people forward and give them the tools they need to be successful, and how to relate to the universe of different personalities, and different levels of expectations there are out there, you’re not going to be able to move your business forward."
The seminar was scheduled to run from 9AM until noon. To learn more about customer service and signature worldwide, you can go to the website: www.signatureworldwide.com
