Buckeyes Crush Kent State; Bobcats Mashed By Marshall

 J.T. Barrett tied Kenny Guiton’s program record with six touchdown passes as Ohio State bounced back from its week two defeat to Virginia Tech by crushing Kent State, 66-0. Rod Smith, Michael Thomas and Curtis Samuel each scored a pair of touchdowns. The Bucks will be back in action Sept. 27 at home against Cincinnati.

Frank Solich’s Ohio Bobcats weren’t as lucky in Huntington, W.Va. Rakeem Cato passed for 425 yards and the Marshall Thundering Herd snapped a three-year losing skid to the ‘Cats in convincing fashion, 44-14. Ohio will look to bounce back in its home opener next Saturday against Idaho.
