Suspect Arrested In Robbery

Zanesville Police say they have one man in custody in connection with the robbery of the Duke And Duchess at Forest and Maple Avenue.

Captain Doug Merry said just after midnight, Monday, a man robbed the gas station. Merry said earlier Sunday evening the suspect attempted to robbed the Speedway at Maple Avenue and Military Road, but was refused by the clerk.

Muskingum County Sheriff’s Deputies spotted the suspect’s vehicle and made the arrest. The name of the suspect won’t be released until he is formally charged.
