Two Killed In Motorcycle Accident

The Noble County Sheriff’s Office says two Cambridge residents were killed Sunday in a motorcycle accident.

It happened just before 2 p.m. on State Route 821 in Belle Valley. Sheriff Stephen Hannum says the motorcycle struck an aluminum street light post causing 47-year-old Shane Williamson and 43-year-old Rona Williamson to be ejected.

Mr. Williamson was taken to Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center where he later died. Mrs. Williamson was pronounced dead at the scene by the Noble County Coroner. The couple was riding a 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycle.
