Adopt a Child For Christmas Fundraiser to be Held at Mother Tucker’s

Mother Tucker’s Gas Station will be holding an event for a great cause on Saturday, September 27.

The Community, Sharon Avenue Yard Sale and Fun Day will be taking place outside the gas station. It is open to the whole community and this is the first year it will be held at Mother Tucker’s. Employee of mother tuckers, Mark Lane says a lot of different things will be available to those who attend the fundraiser.

"We’re gonna have hot dogs, chips and pop, a bounce house, we’re going to have face painting, tattoos, games, lemonade."

The event begins at 8AM. All of the money that is raised at the event will go toward Adopt a Child for Christmas. This provides for the youth who are less fortunate during the holiday season. Lane told us he would like to raise money for 15 children this year. If you would like to donate to the cause, Lane says all you have to do is show up.

"Just show up, enjoy yourself have a good time. Even if you just come down and holler at us and let us know that you’re supporting us, that means a lot to me."
