State Route 146 Injury Accident
And a car flipped into a creek on State Route 146 Saturday evening.
The accident occurred just before 5PM closing route 146 for a period of time. The road was re-opened to one lane at 5:45PM. Trooper William Duerson of the State Highway Patrol told us what happened.
"The Chevy suburban was eastbound on 146, drove off of the right side of the road, over corrected, came back on, drove across the midline, struck a guardrail, flipped over onto its side and rolled back on to its wheels."
The woman driving the car was not seriously injured but was transported to Genisis Good Samaritan hospital. The car broke a gas line in the process of rolling which was shut off later Saturday evening. Community Ambulance, Wayne and Harrison Township Volunteer Fire Departments and the State Highway Patrol all responded to the scene. The vehicle is believed to be a total loss.
