Single Car Accident on Maysville Pike

A single car struck Joseph’s Buy Here Pay Here on Maysville Pike Monday afternoon.

The car was heading westbound on Maysville Pike when it struck an embankment and hit the building. There is significant damage to both the car and the building. The driver was the only person in the vehicle at the time of the accident. Trooper Joshua Weaver of the Ohio State Highway Patrol said the driver had swelling of the right ankle. She was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital by Genesis Community Ambulance, and according to her sister, was then transported to OSU for treatment of more severe injuries. The South Zanesville Fire Department also responded to the call, which came in at 12:13 p.m. Monday.
