Bomb Threat on N. Columbus St. in Somerset

A bomb threat has been called in to the Somerset Police Department Monday evening on N. Columbus St. 

Somerset police say the caller claimed to have hostages, but the officers on the scene do not believe there are any hostages involved. The Ohio Department of Transportation set up a blockade at 5:30. The State Highway Patrol Special Response Team is on the scene. The Somerset Police Department, the State Highway Patrol and the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office all have responded to the call. 

Neighbors say that the house is on the 200 block of N. Columbus Street.
