Local Area Teams Represented Well in Latest Baseball, Softball Polls

ZANESVILLE, OH – The recent statewide polls have been released for baseball and softball.

As of Monday, April 15th, two local area teams, Sheridan and Heath were represented in the Ohio High School Baseball Coaches Association poll.

Sheridan is ranked number seven in Division II, while Heath is ranked #12 in Division III.

Over in softball, the Ohio High School Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association also released its latest poll on Monday.

Division II has Granville at number two, John Glenn tied for seventh, and Sheridan comes in at number ten.

Meadowbrook comes in at number seven in Division III, while Caldwell is ranked sixth in Division IV.
