Single Car Injury-Accident

The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office Responded to a single car injury-accident at 2:27 p.m. Friday. 

The accident occured on U.S. 36, west of Warsaw. The driver, 33-year-old Erica Colopy of Howard, OH was traveling westbound on U.S. 36 when she lost control of her vehicle. According to the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office Colopy went off the right side of the road, struck a ditch, went airborne, struck a tree and then struck a house. MedFlight transported Colopy from the scene to Grant Medical Center in Columbus. The Sheriff’s Office believes alcohol and speed were factors in the accident. 

Walhonding Valley Fire Department, Coshocton County EMS, MedFlight, REACT and Prince’s Wrecker Service assisted the Sheriff’s Office. The accident is under further investigation.
