Muskingum County Court Warns of Scam

Muskingum County Court Officials are warning the public about a scam.

Clerk of Courts Alma Tennent says someone is calling people claiming that they are from the court and demanding payment for a fine.

She says the caller is trying to obtain credit card information.

Tennent says that you should not give out any information and contact the court immediately at 455-7138
.
She adds that if possible write down the phone number that appears on your caller ID.
