Pet of The Week: Bev
The Animal Shelter Society has a new furry friend available for adoption.
Meet Bev, the shelters featured pet this week. She is a 5 year old female cat, and has been living at the shelter for about two months now. Bev is up to date on all her shots and has had her surgery. Executive Director of the Animal Shelter, Jody Murray says she would make a great companion for just about anyone.
"She’s a good cat, she gets along well with other cats, she’s obviously here at The Shelter, she’s been around dogs, she doesn’t mind being around dogs. Just very calm. She’s just a good all around cat."
You can take Bev home for the special adoption fee of $35. She will be micro-chipped before you take her home. If you feel that she might be a good fit, you are encouraged to come and meet her at The Shelter. Murray also wanted to remind us of their upcoming auction.
"Our auctions coming up October the 25th. We still have tickets available. We still have some slots for corporate sponsors. Its going to be located at Eagle Sticks in the evening. It starts at 5 o’clock. Doors open at 5PM, meal at 6PM"
