Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office Most Wanted: Brian Hatfield

The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office Most Wanted this week is 39-year-old Brian Hatfield.

Hatfield has been accused of helping to misspend nearly $500,000 designated for emergency services for the Harrison Township Emergency Medical Service. According to Sheriff Matt Lutz, Hatfield is wanted on a nationwide pickup for failure to abide by the conditions of his bond in reference to engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, money laundering and theft.

"The judge issued this warrant himself, because every time a judge issues a bond he has conditions that you have to abide by. In this situation the judge has told us that he did not abide by his conditions" said Lutz.

Hatfield is described as being 5’9, weighing 170 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes. He also is described as having tattoo’s on his chest, back, shoulders and both arms.

Sheriff Lutz says that they are working to find Hatfield.

"We know a lot of people that was involved with him, we know a lot of people that know him so we have not had a shortage on tips when it comes to getting information about that case."
