Baseball/Softball Coaches Poll Released

We take a look at the latest Coaches Association Baseball Poll as three local teams cracked the list in DII.

At number 4 are the Sheridan Generals, despite the mixed week with two losses to Tri-Valley and wins against Maysville, Coshocton and Logan.

Licking Valley comes in at number 8 after an unbeaten week with wins over Watkins, Newark Catholic, Lakewood and Granville.

Tri-Valley makes its way up the rankings coming in at number 10 after those two victories over the Generals.

In Division III Heath is ranked number 6. The Bulldogs defeated Northridge, Granville, Johnstown-Monroe and Columbus Academy.

Moving over to softball. Granville is ranked Number 2 in DII with another strong week defeating Licking Heights, Utica, Heath and Licking Valley. They’re joined by Sheridan at number 5 in the poll with the Generals defeating Tri-Valley twice, Maysville, Coshocton and Logan.
