A Pair of Pooches are the Dogs of the Week

Zanesville, OH– A pair of delightful dogs don’t want to be without one another.

Diesel and Baby Girl are a bonded pair. They are both 8-years-old and weigh just over 50 pounds. They are spayed and neutered and keep clean kennels. They are also friendly with other dogs and love to play in the grass.

“They would do great with a family. We’re trying to keep them together if possible. If you are able to have that sort of arrangement they’d make a great companion,” explained K9 Adoption Center Volunteer Doug McQuaid. “They love affection. They like sitting beside of you getting all the attention they could possibly get. And as you can see they are pretty much side by side.”

These Terrier mixes made their way to the shelter in January through a humane case.

“Diesel does have some arthritis that’s going to be a life-long situation. He was hurt when he was small and he was not properly taken care of ,” said McQuaid.
